Native integration of a motion-detection accelerometer to immediately report any attempt to tear off or physically tamper with the equipment, with optional triggering of an audible and visual alarm.
Full support for proximity card and badge technologies in the MIFARE range (Classic, UltraLight, Plus, and DESFire EV2/EV3) operating on the 13.56 MHz frequency for maximum flexibility. This RFID reader reads every MIFARE card in under a second, whether it is a recent or older MIFARE badge. 13.56 MHz MIFARE cards are recognized instantly.
Native compatibility with the LiNEGUARD Access mobile app, a digital identification solution via Bluetooth connection and NFC chip compatible across all readers in the range. NFC technology seamlessly replaces physical badges.
Four operating modes adapt to every requirement: CSN, ready-to-use PRESET, MOBILE on smartphone, and the standalone CUSTOM mode with local access storage via LiNEGUARD Studio. Switching to Custom and Mobile modes simply requires an activation card in commercial buildings, and remains active by default in residential setups.

Just like the LEDs, the sound signature of LiNEGUARD readers can be configured in LiNEGUARD Studio. Fully customizable or based on predefined melodies and industrial signals, this feature allows you to choose distinctive, clear, and intuitive audio messages when presenting a badge, card, or smartphone, or in the event of an intrusion alarm. A specific tone can be assigned to each type of alarm.

LiNEGUARD readers integrate into all access control markets (new build and retrofit projects) thanks to native support of industry-standard protocols: Wiegand, OSDP, SSCP SPAC. The Wiegand protocol remains compatible with the majority of existing control units.
A targeted power-saving function equips the Line Ultra Prox reader to reduce the overall electrical footprint of installations. An optical proximity sensor, directly integrated beneath the extended front panel of the housing, detects user presence without requiring physical contact. During idle periods, the system switches to deep sleep mode by turning off power to secondary components—13.56 MHz antenna, audio signals, and 6-LED light guide. The reading interface wakes up instantly upon entering the detection area.
To provide a tailor-made experience, the logo on LiNEGUARD readers can be customized. Readers adapt seamlessly to the branding and visual identity of any company.
