Line Ultra Prox general features
Native integration of a motion-detection accelerometer to immediately report any attempt to tear off or physically tamper with the equipment, with optional triggering of an audible and visual alarm.
Full support for proximity card and badge technologies in the MIFARE range (Classic, UltraLight, Plus, and DESFire EV2/EV3) operating on the 13.56 MHz frequency for maximum flexibility. This RFID reader reads every MIFARE card in under a second, whether it is a recent or older MIFARE badge. 13.56 MHz MIFARE cards are recognized instantly.
Native compatibility with the LiNEGUARD Access mobile app, a digital identification solution via Bluetooth connection and NFC chip compatible across all readers in the range. NFC technology seamlessly replaces physical badges.
Four operating modes adapt to every requirement: CSN, ready-to-use PRESET, MOBILE on smartphone, and the standalone CUSTOM mode with local access storage via LiNEGUARD Studio. Switching to Custom and Mobile modes simply requires an activation card in commercial buildings, and remains active by default in residential setups.
This casing combines high mechanical strength with an IP65 rating, ensuring perfect endurance against harsh outdoor environments. It seamlessly integrates into every access point for complete protection (subject to strict compliance with installation and wiring guidelines).
Line Ultra Prox reader, a connected reader
The behavior and signals of LiNEGUARD readers are fully customizable via LiNEGUARD Studio, the advanced configuration tool that redefines visual and audible communication between the reader and each user. Each reader remains controlled by the control unit, which itself is connected to the cloud or locally. This is where access rights for badges, cards, and smartphones are centralized.
Modern, vertical light communication
Line version LiNEGUARD readers feature a 6-point vertical LED strip offering fully customizable visual feedback. The LiNEGUARD Studio app allows users to choose from predefined templates or create original animations. Everything can be finely tuned: colors, fade-in or fade-out effects, and sequence duration. Each swipe of a badge, card, or smartphone thus triggers a clear and instantly recognizable visual confirmation.
Tailor-made to set the right tone for users
Just like the LEDs, the sound signature of LiNEGUARD readers can be configured in LiNEGUARD Studio. Fully customizable or based on predefined melodies and industrial signals, this feature allows you to choose distinctive, clear, and intuitive audio messages when presenting a badge, card, or smartphone, or in the event of an intrusion alarm. A specific tone can be assigned to each type of alarm.
Custom logo
Featuring an ultra-robust IK10-certified casing, LiNEGUARD readers enhance every company’s brand image with custom logo printing on the front panel. An effective way to seamlessly blend the equipment into any building’s design.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which radio and card technologies are read by this RFID badge reader?
This casing features extremely broad technological compatibility to meet the most demanding access control projects in commercial and residential sectors. It serves as a high-security RFID badge reader fully compatible with MIFARE® technology chips: Classic, Ultralight, Plus as well as latest-generation DESFire® EV2/EV3 chips operating on the standard 13.56 MHz frequency. Adapted to new mobile uses, this RFID badge reader combines Bluetooth (BLE) and NFC technologies. Identification is performed by simply bringing a smartphone close to the reader, eliminating the need for a physical badge. The LiNEGUARD Access application ensures virtual credential management as a perfect complement to traditional cards. This system guarantees a seamless transition between plastic badges and digital access, while securing data transmission to the control unit via Wiegand, OSDP or SSCP SPAC protocols.
What are the advantages of the Ultra Prox format combined with Line technology?
The combination of the Ultra Prox format and Line technology guarantees high resistance, clear visual feedback, and access versatility.
This ultra-robust RFID badge reader, complying with IK10 and IP65 standards, ensures full protection and perfect resistance against impacts as well as outdoor environmental harshness. Access validation is handled intuitively thanks to the 6-LED vertical light guide, capable of triggering custom visual and audible alerts in the event of an anomaly or intrusion.
Beyond physical credentials, the equipment manages digital access through NFC and BLE technology: the smartphone then replaces the badge. Already active in commercial environments, this hands-free mode is easily enabled via card in the residential sector.
How does this reader meet the aesthetic requirements of modern buildings?
With its flat front panel, premium materials, and clean contemporary lines, this model is a preferred choice for commercial architectural projects seeking to integrate access control in an elegant and subtle manner.
In the Line version, LiNEGUARD readers feature a 6-LED vertical guide fully customizable via the LiNEGUARD Studio configuration tool. Colors, durations, and smooth lighting effects can be tailor-made to provide clear, fluid, and immediate visual validation at every pass.
Its surface mounting guarantees an elegant installation with no visible cables, keeping the connection (Wiegand/RS485) completely concealed behind the unit. Suitable for standalone or centralized mode, it integrates perfectly onto partitions, doors, or reception halls.
How does this reader secure data during a network outage?
Data management during a network outage varies depending on the access control unit to which the equipment is connected.
LiNEGUARD readers rely on total passive security as soon as a physical link is severed. Any signal loss or degradation leads to the immediate locking of the door, accompanied by a visual and audible alert emitted by the device.
When paired with an iPassan control unit, the system maintains an optimal level of security and access. The device directly stores all site configurations, authorized profile lists, and credentials (badges, PIN codes, or mobile keys) in its local memory. A lost server connection in no way alters user access, ensuring passage remains seamless. This logic applies equally to remote control or disconnected local mode.
