Rethinking access management becomes simple.

LiNEGUARD Access transforms your smartphone into a unique digital badge. By eliminating physical media, access within your premises becomes smoother while guaranteeing an optimal level of protection and simplified management.

Digitalization Serving Agility

Physical badges (cards or key fobs) are often lost, forgotten, or damaged. LiNEGUARD Access turns this constraint into a seamless experience. By leveraging the smartphone’s Bluetooth (BLE) and NFC technologies, the RFID application replaces traditional credentials.

Why Choose a Mobile Badge?

  • User Experience: No more searching for your badge at the bottom of your bag.
  • Operational Savings: Elimination of purchasing, printing, and inventory management costs for physical badges.
  • Instant Deployment: Access rights assigned remotely without physical contact with the user.
  • Increased Security: Enhanced protection of digital credentials thanks to the phone’s native security barriers.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

Does the LiNEGUARD Access RFID app consume a lot of battery?

No. LiNEGUARD Access uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology, designed to minimize impact on smartphone battery life. Background operation is extremely energy-efficient.

Does the app work without an internet connection?

Yes, the app works perfectly without any internet or mobile network connection. Once the virtual badge is activated in the app, data exchange between the smartphone and the reader takes place entirely locally via Bluetooth (BLE) or NFC technology.

This makes it possible to open a door or a basement parking gate even in dead zones with no 4G or 5G coverage. This network independence applies regardless of the communication protocol used by the installation, whether Wiegand, OSDP, or SSCP.

Can physical badges and the app be used simultaneously?

Absolutely. The hybrid architecture of LiNEGUARD readers allows high-security physical badges and the mobile identification app to coexist seamlessly.

This operational flexibility is made possible by integrating two independent radio components within the reader: a primary 13.56 MHz antenna communicates with physical cards and smartphones via NFC, while a secondary 2.4 GHz antenna specifically handles Bluetooth (BLE) traffic. The hardware infrastructure natively adapts to all user profiles without requiring any technical trade-offs.

What happens if a smartphone is lost?

In the event of a lost or stolen smartphone, access revocation is performed directly from the central management software. Because the readers do not store any user profiles, revoking the phone number instantly blocks any opening attempts.

Since the virtual badge is linked to the mobile line via an SMS validation code, replacing the device while keeping the same number preserves all permissions. If the phone number changes, the administrator simply generates a new invitation to install and activate the LiNEGUARD Access app on the new hardware in just a few clicks.

Is any personal data collected?

No, user privacy is completely protected. In full compliance with GDPR regulations, the system exclusively logs an anonymized phone number. The app performs no tracking or geolocation and limits itself to emitting a secure, encrypted technical identifier during each access request.
